Born and raised in the West, my deep connection to the western landscape fuels my passion for painting. I strive to capture the magnificence of the West not merely through meticulous detail, but by infusing my work with the spirit of the place, employing composition, palette, and subject matter.
I navigate between traditional oil painting and acrylic, employing both brush and knife techniques. Additionally, I've pioneered a unique approach I've coined "squeezellism," utilizing squeeze bottles to apply paint, adding a distinctive texture to my pieces.
My artistic endeavors span a wide array of subjects, from expansive mountain vistas to the vibrant peak of wildflowers and the majestic red rock formations of Utah. Through my art, I endeavor to encapsulate my profound affection for the landscapes I am fortunate to call home.
My work has found its way into collections across Utah and the Western US, with recent acquisitions by the State of Utah and SLCC for their esteemed permanent collections
